In addition to providing exceptional comfort and health benefits, the PureVision soft contact lens is designed to reduce spherical aberration, that affects visual quality in low-light conditions (objects appear blurred or hazy). Spherical aberration is a natural occurence, in which light rays are refracted at different angles as they enter your eyes. It remains, even after basic vision conditions like near-sightedness have been corrected.
Researchers estimate that nearly 70-percent of the population has spherical aberrations.
